Home remedies to remove Blackheads


Blackheads are black spots on skin that occurs due to excess deposition of oil, dead skin, bacteria, dust and other impurities. When it develops it is called whiteheads but as they come into contact with the atmospheric oxygen, a chemical reaction takes place and the mixture darkens and turns blackheads. Fresh air, sunlight, leaving a stress-free life, drinking enough water, not eating junk foods, meat, excess diary products are good for your health and also it prevents you from blackheads. Homemade blackhead removers are good for getting rid of blackheads at home.

Tips to remove Blackheads:
  • A paste of coriander leaves and turmeric powder make a good home remedy to remove blackheads.
  • Always use natural herd-based cosmetics products as they are not oil based and don’t use oil based creams. 
  • Take paste of oatmeal powder combined with rose water. Apply it on your face for 20 minutes to remove blackheads. This is one of the best home remedies to get rid of blackheads.
  • Always keep your skins clean and use natural face wash.
  • Paste of almond powder, fuller’s earth (multani mitti) and glycerin soap are very effective in blackhead removal.
  • Spreading honey on you face can also help to remove blackheads.
  • Apply a small amount of toothpaste on the blackheads on nose and face. Gently rub the area with a toothbrush. This will help to dry out the oil and decrease any swelling from the blackheads.
  • Lime juice and drumstick leaves paste is also very helpful in treating blackheads.
  • A lotion of honey, lemon juice, a pinch of baking soda is one of the best home remedies to remove blackheads.
