  • Make a habit of removing all traces of make-up from your face before going to bed. Any make-up left on the face aids the growth of pimples/acne, as it clogs the pores.
  • Skipping meals can cause skin to age faster and dry out more quickly. Always try to include vitamin C in your meals to build up your skin’s health.
  • Avoid dehydration by drinking plenty of filtered water. It also helps to prevent the body from aging.
  • Whether its cosmetics, lotions or cleansers we like to try it out. So always test a product out on small patch of skin to avoid an unexpected allergic reaction.
  • Take good care of your hair. You can take your choice from herbal and non-herbal shampoos and conditioners flooding the market. Read the blurbs carefully and see what suits you.
  • Remember to wipe your sun glasses clean because build up and bacteria on your glasses can get into pores around the bridge of your nose causing breakouts and irritation.
  • Cleaning your makeup brushes from time to time is very important not just for keeping them as good as new but also for staying away from various skin infections.
  • A good night’s sleep, between 7-8 hours, is essential to maintain a healthy body and help you to relax and, present a calm and pretty face to the world.
  • Smoking and drinking are both bad habits that will harm you in the long run. So avoid that to maintain a healthy body and look young.

Simple Beauty tips for Oily Skin

Beauty is one of the most important factors which affect your personality and confidence. Oily skin usually ruins a perfect day. Our skin needs a certain amount of oil to keep it healthy, but often when there is an excess production of oil, it can lead to issues. The goal of moisturizing your skin is to hydrate your skin, and to do that you don't need to add oils.

Wash the face with lukewarm water for it dissolves the oil more effectively than cold water and use soap.  Preferably use water-based moisturizer to prevent your skin from getting dry without adding oil on it.

Tips for oily skin:
  • Avoid eating fried and cheesy foods.
  • Prepare mixture of oatmeal and egg white, apply this paste on oily skin and wash after 20 min. your skin will become fresh.
  • Take a mixture of cucumber juice and lemon juice mixed in the same proportion and apply this paste on your face.
  • Prepare puree of tomatoes and apply on oily skin, wash with warm water after 15 min.
  • Drink at least 8-9 glasses of water in a day. Water helps to flush out toxins from the body.
  • Rub your face with ice cubes and you can also try ice water mixed with lime juice.
  • When you go outside the house, make sure to use sunscreen on your face as well as the other exposed body parts.
  • Cut apple’s thin slices and rub it on affected area, wash with warm water after 10 min. It helps in controlling oily shine.
  • Before food have a lime juice mixed with crushed ginger.
  • Prepare pulp of raw papaya and apply on skin, papaya is a good cleansing agent.

Skin Tightening Facial Treatment

Skin Tightening Facial Treatment

Thinks you need:

  • 2 tsp collagen powder or cosmetic clay powder
  • 1 medium or large cucumber
  • Knife
  • Blender or food processor
  • Cheesecloth
  • Small bowl
  • Towel

Instructions:
Step 1: Cut two thin slices of cucumber and place to the side.
Step 2: Cut the rest of the cucumber into smaller chunks, then puree in a blender or food processor. Press the mixture through cheesecloth, so that the juice is strained into a bowl.
Step 3: Measure out 1 tsp of the juice, and place it into a small mixing bowl.
Step 4: Sprinkle in the collagen powder slowly, and stir the ingredients together gently as you do.
Step 5: Spread the skin tightening paste over the face, massaging it into the skin gently.
Step 6: Place the cucumber slices over the eyes, and relax with it for about 20 minutes.
Step 7: Use a soft towel or cloth, dampened with cool water, to gently wipe off the mask. Wash the face with cool water to get off any remaining paste.

Tips to cleanse your face using Milk:
  • Take 1 tsp of un-boiled milk, dip a small pad of cotton wool in this and rub on the face gently. Leave this on for 15 minutes. Then, wash with cold water.

  • Just apply raw milk over your face and neck. Allow it to dry for ten minutes and then rinse your face with fresh water. You will notice a fairer and softer skin within minutes.

  • Mash half a banana and few spoons of raw milk to make a paste. Apply on clean and leave it on for 15 minutes. Wash the face with water. Milk and banana mask helps to smoothen out the fine lines and brings a glowing face.
