Tips for Dark Circles under Eyes

Dark circles under the Eyes are dark blemishes around the eyes and almost many peoples struggle with the dark circles. Dark circles around the eyes are caused by lack of sleep, lack of exercise, poor nutrition and too much exposure to sunlight. Dark circles are often associated with aging but this is not completely true as lot of younger peoples also experience this problem as well. There are many ways to cover this dark circles. Using makeup is the most common way to hide it but if you want to rid of these dark circles completely rather than just covering them you can follow the below tips to get rid off.

  • Put thin slices of raw potato over dark circles at least twice or thrice a day.
  • Cover the dark circles with chamomile tea bags which have been steeped in cool water for several minutes. Keep the tea bags over eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Eat a lot of protein-rich food, fish, and fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamins A, C and iron. 
  • Mix a paste of rose petals with milk and apply this paste around the eyes.
  • Try to apply almonds and glycerin around the eyes.
  • Parsley is an organic remedy in treating dark circles under your eyes since it contains Vitamin K. Freeze parsley into ice cubes, and then wrap the ice cubes in a soft small towel. The parsley ice cube will soothe the eyes and at the same time work on diminishing the dark circles.
  • Drink sufficient water and also include butter milk and yogurt in your diet.
  • Mix almonds and milk and apply it under your dark circles.
  • Try to get enough sleep, at least eight hours of sleep is necessary to rid off from dark circles under the eyes.
  • Mix equal parts of lemon and tomato juice and apply around the eye area twice daily.
  • Put cucumber on freezer then apply over your eyes for 15-20 minutes.
  • Make a paste out of turmeric powder and pineapple juice; or crush some fresh mint into a pulp and apply on the dark circles under the eyes.
